Good location, but...

1. The location is perfect for easy access to nearby supermarkets, restaurants, night markets, and Taipei Station. 2. The WiFi connection is working well.

1. Not great for light sleepers or if you have trouble sleeping. The soundproofing is okay, but you can still hear footsteps and hallway chats. What really bothered me were the noises from pipes above the ceilings and walls, like the sound of water splashing and the machines tumbling. Maybe it's because of the old building. I'm not sure if other rooms have the same issue.

Clean and basic stay at strategic location

Room is spacious and clean with attached bathroom. Towels and amenities are provided. Location is quite good, close to Taipei main station.

Check in time is late (4pm) and check out time is very early (10am). There is no lift to access room at upper floors. Humanless check in can be quite troublesome for those who are not good in using phone.

Very good price, but found some hair on the bed, no bottled water which was promised on it’s website

Good location, close to the police station which makes me feel safe.

The self checkin process is a little difficult, no staff available at the place, you can only rely on LINE to communicate with them.

Property was clean and in a convenient location, good value.

Need to trek up the narrow winding stairs to the 3rd floor. Online payment was a slow manual process that look a lot of back & forth slow manual communication via the social media app LINE, which is required to initiate communications with the Host.

Large beds.

Little bit harder to check in for foreigners - it's required to have Line app with registered account, but it didn't accept Czech phone number (Taiwanese works fine).

The location is good. Wifi is quite good. The night market is really close to the place

The place needs some renovation. Soundproofing is very bad, you can hear the neighbors as if they were in the same room. Check in was very difficult as we couldn’t download line app, maybe having the communication via booking com or WhatsApp would make things way easier. We met other guests that also struggled with check in

Very affordable, but difficult check-in and not great on cleanliness

Very affordable place to stay in Taipei, 10min walk from the Taipei Main Station. The toilet was surprisingly well equipped with a seat warming bidet.

Cleanliness - not sure when the last time the carpet was washed and the wallpapers are peeling. I honestly thought how difficult a check-in could be, but it felt a bit like an escape room. Do take note there are no signboards to the place, locals don’t even know there is lodging here

Very value for money and conveniently located!

Very convenient located, under 10min walk from the Taipei main station. Room was clean, had all the facilities you would need.

The room we stayed in did not have a window. Check in was easy for us because we spoke and read mandarin and had Line to communicate with the staff. Can imagine it being difficult for a foreigner. But my check in process was quite easy and fuss free.

our stay was good and it's near taipei main station

it was really cheap but the amenities are almost same as 2-3 star hotels.

late check-in, early check out. no lift. it was really hard to carry our heavy luggage to 3rd floor. communication also was hard as we are just conversing thru line chat and most of the owner's replies are in mandarin hence we still need to translate thru an app and our response too.

Great value for money

The toilet was new (came with a bidet!) and really clean though the sink got wet easily. Also had a kettle and fridge. Location is not too bad either, walking distance to exit Y22/Y19 which is connected to taipei main station via the mall. Also walking distance (approx 10-15mins) to taoyuan airport express A1 which is also connected to taipei main station (i prefer this route to the mall). Great value for money!

The floors are carpeted which made it look old and dirtier than it really is, wooden floors would've been better. Check-in at 4pm is late and since this is a self-checkin hotel, security may seem lax
